TRINUM SOLAR TRIJENERASYON

Trinum is the first thermodynamic solar concentrator system equipped with a small size Stirling free piston engine able to generate electric energy, hot water and cold air.

Trinum has a yearly average efficiency of at least 53% (13% electrical efficiency and 40% thermal efficiency).

Considering the same nominal power installed, Trinum produces electric power up to 40% more than an ordinary photovoltaic solar panel.

Trinum is in compliance with the EU Directive 28/2009.

Trigeneration
Trinum generates electric and thermal energy in the form of warm water both for heating and solar cooling. It has a yearly average efficiency of at least 53%.

Electric Energy
Trinum generates 1 kW of electric power. During one year it produces 2100* kWh of electric energy with an electrical efficiency of 13%. It delivers up to 40% more electricity than a normal photovoltaic panel.

Thermal Energy
Trinum generates 3 kW of thermal power. During one year it produces 6400* kWh of thermal energy with a thermal efficiency of 40%.

Solar Cooling
Trinum generates thermal energy that can be used by absorption air conditioning systems.

Recyclable
Trinum is 100% recyclable.

Stirling Engine
Trinum is the only system in the world using a small size free piston Stirling engine for the cogeneration of electric and thermal energies. The engine is produced by Microgen Engine Corporation.

Self Protection
When it is raining or hailing or the wind speed is higher than 50 Km/h, Trinum can close on itself protecting the whole system. Trinum is equipped with an automatic solar tracking system and with digital trasmission devices for remote control.

Operating Space
With the same production of electric and thermal energy, Trinum makes use of a surface that is about the half of the one used by traditional photovoltaic and thermal panels.

Plug&Play
Trinum generates alternate electric energy that can be input directly into the electric grid. Trinum needs no inverter.

Economics
With the same investments and with the same occupied area, one Trinum generates more electric and thermal energy than a normal photovoltaic panel.
